Andrew Perez Named Executive of the Year in Boxing Promotion
Andrew Perez participates in nationally televised events with Fox sports and Golden Boy promotions
Hialeah, FL, July 30, 2014, Andrew Perez, President & Chief Executive Officer of Gym And Boxing, has been named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year in Boxing Promotion. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.
Andrew Perez earned a Master's Degree in Sports Psychology further inspiring him to reach out to youths on an international level. To achieve this goal, he established Gym And Boxing in 2004. The club provides boxing lessons for inner-city youth and works to promote the sport as well as its professional and amateur boxers in both Mexico and the United States. In 2013, Mr. Perez started a boxing series on the Delmar Fairgrounds and he also participates in nationally televised events with Fox sports and Golden Boy promotions.
Mr. Perez is an active member of the World Boxing Federation and the International Boxing Federation. Looking ahead, he plans to continue to reach out to inner-city youth on an international level.
