Ivan Spollansky Contreras Recognized as a VIP Member of Worldwide Branding

Mr. Spollansky Contreras is an ‘out of the box’ thinker with 10 years of experience in human resources 

VITACURA, SANTIAGO, CHILE, August 13, 2015, Ivan Spollansky Contreras, Human Resources Manager of Laboratorios Garden House, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Mr. Spollansky Contreras has 10 years of professional experience, having recently become a human resources manager of Laboratorios Garden House. Throughout his career, he has set himself apart as an expert in the areas of human resources and corporate strategy. Each day, he is responsible for managing human resources and organizational development on behalf of the laboratory, as well as overseeing 250 employees. Laboratorios Garden House is a pharmaceutical laboratory that produces over-the-counter medicines and effective nutraceuticals, preferably of natural origin.

Mr. Spollansky Contreras is fluent in English. In 2010 he became the youngest senior consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Chile, and he is currently the youngest human resources manager in Laboratorios Garden House's history. Mr. Spollansky Contreras designed and implemented Laboratorios Garden House's first performance review process, a strategy map, a balanced scorecard, and developed alliances with Chilean government agencies to work with employees. He also implemented SuccessFactors at SMU, one of the biggest retailers in Chile, which was regarded as a success story by SAP.

Mr. Spollansky Contreras attributes his success to being able to study at Nido de Aguilas in Chile and being surrounded by diverse cultures. He always tries to think 'out of the box' to develop solutions that propose a win-win scenario for the organization and its employees. Mr. Spollansky Contreras was struck by the instability merger and acquisition processes cause on human capital. As a financial consultant at the time, these experiences opened his eyes towards pursuing a career in human resources. The highlight of his career was increasing medical benefits in Laboratorios Garden House, which has reduced the turnover, increased engagement and strengthened relations with the union.

Mr. Spollansky Contreras received a Master of Science in Marketing from Universidad Adolfo Ibañez (2008) and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibañez (2007). In five years, Mr. Spollansky Contreras hopes for continued professional growth and to possibly work outside of Chile.
